Overview

Our vision is to deliver outstanding returns
Founded in 1991, Long Term Investments Portfolio (LTP) was established to represent the Investment Portfolio Dept in the Libyan Foreign Investment Co. (LAFICO) with fully separated assets registered in the name of (LAFICO) and managed by Libyan Minister Board. After the restructuring, an asset sorting and proof agreement was prepared, confirmed, and approved between the two parties and LTP became one of the main subsidiaries of Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) in 2006.
The authority’s intention to diversify Libya’s sources of long-term investments geared the portfolio to tailor strong participations in a variety of business sectors in and outside Libya in specific, and Europe, Africa, and the Middle East in general. Working to accelerate Libyan long-term investments, LTP acts to be a sustainable investor with a keen eye on future opportunities.
